Reasons to go to Indonesia: One, two, three…

Why is now such a good time to volunteer at our Indonesia Wildlife Sanctuary? Well, unlike much of Southeast Asia the island of Sulawesi, home to the project, does not receive rainfall of biblical proportions throughout September and October, making it a great time to volunteer. In fact it usually stays relatively dry and sunny through much of November as well, leaving you a pretty big fairweather window of opportunity to aim for!

To help you decide if volunteering with the orangutans, bears and primates at the wildlife rescue project is for you, why not read our latest Indonesia wildlife volunteer story, all about super volunteer Fiona Procter? Fiona has spent that last few months moving from project to project, including the Indonesia wildlife sanctuary, and her story may just persuade you to take that plunge.

Direct flights to Manado, just one hour from the project leave from Kuala Lumpur (Air Asia, Malaysian Airlines), Singapore (Singapore Airlines + Silk Air) and Jakarta (Garuda + various local carriers). What are you waiting for?
