Globalteer joins Ethical Volunteering Group

We are delighted to annouce that Globalteer has been accepted as a member of UK charity Tourism Concern’s Ethical Volunteering Group in recognition of our commitment to responsible and ethical volunteering.

We know how difficult it can be for volunteers to find responsible organisations when planning a volunteering trip so we hope that this will help making that decision easier.

Being accepted as member of the Ethical Volunteering Group means that Globalteer has demonstrated a commitment to “best practice in international volunteering, to maximising the beneficial developmental impacts in the communities where our volunteering takes place, to minimising the negative impacts, and to ensuring that volunteers have a worthwhile experience”.

We are delighted that our commitment to providing responsible and ethical volunteering placements has been recognised and hope that it will encourage more volunteers to join us on one of our great programmes.
