Animal Projects in South-East Asia & Latin America
Globalteer supports several wildlife & animal projects throughout South-East Asia and Latin America. Animals at the projects have been rescued from a variety of places; many have been rescued from the tourism & entertainment industries, illegal pet trade or traditional medicine trade or from injury from humans or other animals.
The projects aim to rehabilitate and release animals back into the wild where possible. Those that cannot be released are provided with the best possible lives in large, enriching enclosure. A variety of animals can be found across the projects including bears, sloths, monkeys, gibbons, lorises, civets, deer and exotic birds among many others.
