At university, Nat majored in Agricultural Business, driven by her childhood dream of owning a farm and opening a store selling agricultural supplies. She has seen firsthand how a robust agricultural sector can greatly benefit her community.
As the first in her family to graduate from university, Nat takes immense pride in this achievement. She is grateful to her generous donors, family, and friends for their unwavering support. The scholarship has been a life-changing opportunity for her. It not only opened doors to higher education in agricultural business but also inspired her to strive for personal growth and to dream big.
Life-Changing Opportunity: The scholarship provided Nat with more than just financial support during her university studies. It also allowed her to learn from experts and opened doors to job opportunities. This experience empowered her with newfound confidence and inspired her to dream bigger, despite the financial challenges she faced growing up.
Overcoming Challenges: Like many students, Nat faced challenges during her final semester, especially with her research project. However, through her hard work and the support of faculty members, she successfully completed her project and graduated. Her advice to future scholarship recipients is to work hard and have confidence in themselves.
Nat is currently working as a salesperson at a construction and agriculture supply store in Siem Reap province. In her role, she has the opportunity to meet many people and learn about various tools and supplies in the agricultural sector. She believes that this knowledge will enable her to assist farmers in selecting the right supplies for their farming businesses. Her aspiration is to learn how to run a successful farming business, and she believes that understanding how to use the right supplies is a crucial step toward achieving this goal.
Nat acknowledges that her scholarship thoroughly prepared her for her current job by providing her with the necessary theory and knowledge in agriculture. She is deeply grateful to those who believed in her, especially the generous donors who sponsored her scholarship. Without this opportunity, completing university would have been a much more challenging journey.
Looking ahead, Nat aspires to open her own agriculture supply store and chicken farm in her hometown, aiming to bring valuable benefits to her community.
