Help Bring Sport to Children in Siem Reap

In rural Cambodia, many children grow up without organised sport. Village schools are asked to teach physical education, but few have the equipment, space or trained coaches to do it. The Globalteer Sports Programme changes that, reaching more than 2,500 children across 7 villages and 9 schools.

Our work would not exist without the support of our donors, volunteers and fundraisers. Even a small amount goes a long way in Cambodia, and every gift helps us bring sport to disadvantaged children who would otherwise miss out.

What You Can Do to Help

There are lots of ways to support children in Cambodia through sport, from home or in Siem Reap. You can:

  • Make a one-off or monthly donation
  • Volunteer with our coaches in Siem Reap
  • Fundraise with a challenge, event or team at work
  • Sponsor a set of team shirts for a village team
  • Give an item from our wish list
  • Join Temple Run, our annual fundraising run

Whatever you choose, your support goes straight to coaches, equipment and sessions for the children who need them most.

Donate

The sports programme relies on the kindness and generosity of our donors to keep running and growing. Your donation helps pay for coaches, sports equipment and weekly sessions in villages and schools across Siem Reap.

You can give once or set up a monthly donation, and supporters in the USA can donate with tax relief. No matter how large or small, every gift is gratefully received.

Sponsor Sports Shirts

Looking to give as an organisation? You can sponsor a set of sports shirts for our children. A donation of £250 (US$300) covers 15 shirts, and we will put your organisation’s logo on them.

The children we work with live in areas of extreme poverty and have very few clothes of their own, often just one school uniform and one set of clothes for everything else. A proper team shirt is a wonderful gift that gives them a sense of identity and belonging.
