Cambodia Elephant Sanctuary
The Cambodia Elephant Sanctuary is based at the head of a beautiful jungle valley in Eastern Cambodia, providing rescued elephants with the most natural living environment possible. Also, the project works tirelessly in elephant conservation to protect Cambodia's remaining wild elephant population.
Peru Wildlife Sanctuary
The Peru Wildlife Shelter is a lifeline for abused and endangered animals in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Indeed, many of the animals at the centre have been rescued from illegal trafficking and the pet trade or abusive homes. The project is dedicated to animal welfare and treats & rehabilitates the animals; and when possible, releases them back into the wild.
Costa Rica Sea Turtle Conservation
The Costa Rica Sea Turtle Conservation project focuses on the conservation of four species of sea turtles - the Oliver Ridley, Pacific Black & the occasional Leatherbacks & Hawksbills. The main objective of the project is to alleviate the natural and man-made threats that affect the turtle's nests on the beaches.
Thailand Wildlife Sanctuary
An opportunity for working with animals in Thailand; the sanctuary provides a safe haven for many species of rescued animals that are endangered or under threat for many different reasons. Most of the animals are victims of the pet trade and or tourist trade. Others have been rescued from unsuitable living conditions at temples, zoos and other rescue centres.
Peru Dog Rescue Shelter
The Peru Dog Rescue Project provides a solution to the stray dog problem that is commonplace in Peru. The objective of the project is to nurture dogs back to health through veterinary treatment, and receiving daily loving care and attention from volunteers. V olunteer with dogs abroad & help rescued dogs at the Peru Sanctuary.
Thailand Elephant Sanctuary
The Thailand Elephant Sanctuary gives safe haven to rescued elephants so they can live a life as close as possible to their wild relatives. Without the sanctuary these lovely animals would otherwise be roaming the streets, suffering terrible conditions at working elephant camps or being exploited by the tourist industry.
The Bear Rescue Sanctuary
The Cambodia Bear Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of bears poached for bear bile farms, traditional medicines, exploited as pets, used for profit within the tourist industry or rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. The project provides a safe haven for the bears so they can have live a better life.
Laos Wildlife Sanctuary
Volunteer work with Wildlife in Laos at the country's only official wildlife release centre. Thousands of protected animals are illegally traded through Laos every day. Without the centre, local authorities wouldn’t be able to enforce wildlife laws, and rescue animals, who would then not have a safe location for their rehabilitation and, where possible, release.
Malaysia Sea Turtle Conservation
The Malaysia Sea Turtle Conservation Project focuses on monitoring sea turtle species in the area through snorkel surveys. This data is then used to create effective conservation plans. The project also help conservation efforts by protecting nest from poachers through nightly beach patrol to find nests & relocate them to a safe hatchery until they hatch and can be released back to the ocean.
Indonesia Wildlife Sanctuary
Wildlife conservation volunteering at a rehabilitation and release centre for animals saved from the illegal wildlife trade. Sulawesi Island, the location of the project, remains the jumping off point for illegal shipments of animals for the exotic pet and ‘medicinal’ markets. The existence of the project means authorities are able to enforce, raid and rescue animals that are being trafficked and home them with the project.
Peru Amazon Conservation Project
Volunteer work deep within amazon rainforest at The Peru Amazon Conservation Project. Volunteers assist with important conservation work to protect the forest that still habours endangered species such as jaguars, pumas, ocelots, tapirs, sloths, anacondas, river otters, caiman and a myriad of other species. Manú is a major biodiversity hotspot, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Cambodia Cat & Dog Welfare
Help care for rescued street animals at the Cambodia Cat & Dog Welfare Project. In addition to caring for these rescued animals, the project focuses heavily on improving the general welfare of animals in Cambodia.Peru Marine Conservation Project
Assist with marine conservation efforts in Peru with a Project focusing on promoting and contributing to the conservation of the marine ecosystems in the Southeast Pacific specifically off the North Coast of Peru. This programme takes a holistic approach to conservation through scientific research, sustainability management, environmental education and inter-agency collaboration.Argentina Monkey Sanctuary
The Argentina Monkey Sanctuary has been working for over 20 years with howler monkeys - a species which inhabits the forests and jungles of northeast Argentina but is hunted for sale for the domestic pet trade. The resident monkeys have been rescued from around the country through government seizures, zoo closures and voluntary surrendering of pets. They all now live a happier life at the sanctuary.
Peru Horse Sanctuary
Help care for rescued horses at the Peru Horse Sanctuary! Horses at the sanctuary have been rescued from being over-worked in bad conditions or a fate of being slaughtered for meat. The project also aims to raise awareness and appreciation for the Peruvian Andes Highlander Horse; which is at risk of extinction.
