Picaflor House Volunteers

Picaflor House could not exist without the many volunteers who come from around the world to help us.

Not only do their donations support our work with the children, but the volunteers also teach English and Spanish, Maths and Art, they paint stools and pick up stones, they sweep floors and pick up rubbish, they play chess and football and baseball, they dance and make music, they create incredible sculptures and colourful artworks, their back-breaking labour creates paths and sandpits, they help tie shoelaces, wipe runny noses and give sad children big hugs, they laugh and sing and, sometimes when they’re leaving, shed a few tears.

We, the staff and children of Picaflor House, thank you all most sincerely for your generous contributions.
