Helping Hands Football Tournament 2018!
It’s time for another exciting Onsite Fundraiser at Helping Hands! We're hosting our very first annual Helping Hands Football Tournament on 1st and 2nd March.
The tournament will be made up of a total of 28 teams, divided into three divisions, with one winning team per division. Each team will be made up of 7 or 8 students, playing to win the championship.
Everyone is super excited! Help cheer on the students and sponsor a team.
Why are we doing this..
This fundraiser will not only be a fun event for our students, but we also hope to raise awareness about our programs and raise much needed funds too!
Our aim is to raise enough funds to complete the construction of our football pitch. We currently need:
- wire to fence off our site (to keep balls from running into cows, buffaloes and chickens)
- netting to keep balls from crushing our dear trees
- and football nets for our new goals.
In total this will cost $200. Can you help us reach our goal?
The rest of the funds that we raise will go towards the development of our students’ Education, in which we are hoping to include more sports, arts and other creative activities!
