Globalteer is a registered charity in the UK (registration number 1119706), so is legally required to ensure that 100% of all monies received are used to achieve the charitable objectives:<\/p>\n

1) To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially disadvantaged communities. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Sustainable development<\/em>\u00a0means \u201cdevelopment which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

2) To promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage, and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
